Community Input - Arts Funding Guidelines for Nonprofits & Artists
The Department of Arts & Culture’s largest investment is grantmaking to San Antonio’s dynamic creative community. Grants to nonprofit organizations support critical work in the delivery of exceptional and innovative arts and cultural programming. Grants to artists fuel the creation of new work for public debut. Collectively, these grants increase access to the arts, improve quality of life, and actively contribute to the rich cultural identity of San Antonio.
The Arts Funding Guidelines outline all department-managed grant programs and their eligibility, requirements, restrictions, and application processes. As part of the routine revisions process, we seek community input to inform the next iteration of Guidelines.
