History & Description 

The board is established for the purpose of providing final interpretation of the provisions of chapter 8.100 and hearing appeals provided thereunder. The powers and duties of the board are as follows: (A) Provide final interpretation of the provisions of chapter 8.100; and (B) Hear appeals provided for in chapter 8.100; (C) Recommend to the city council such new ordinances or amendments to chapter 8.100 (the housing code) as may be deemed desirable.
